March 12, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Sun. March 12, 1pm – SING (2016, 1h 48m) – This recent animated hit from the makers of Despicable Me & Minions is set a world populated by human-like animals, where a koala named Buster Moon (voiced by Matthew McConaughey) runs a beloved, once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. With the help of his sheep friend Eddie (John C. Reilly), Buster decides to raise money to keep the theater open by holding the world’s greatest singing competition. Buster spreads the word flyers far and wide, and among the large number of singing hopefuls who dream of winning are unappreciated stay-at-home mother pig Rosita (Reese Witherspoon); Johnny (Taron Egerton), a gorilla who doesn’t want to follow his father’s criminal footsteps; Meena (Tori Kelly), a shy young elephant named whose grandpa is her biggest fan; and Ash, a rocking, brokenhearted teenage porcupine (Scarlett Johansson). We bring SING to you before its public video release – watch for more free showings of it during March break at the East, West & Kennebecasis branches! Suitable & great fun for all ages.

Sun. March 12, 2pm – The Thomas Crown Affair (1999, 1h 53m) – In this remake of the classic 1968 thriller starring Steve McQueen, Pierce Brosnan (the only actor to play James Bond who actually looks like Bond should) takes on the title role of the self-made billionaire who can buy anything he wants & is irresistible to women. But there are some things that money can’t buy, like the rush of succeeding at the larcenous challenges of which Thomas Crown is running out. When an alarm sounds at a world-class museum & someone walks out with a priceless Monet, Crown is the last person that the New York police suspect. But brilliant female investigator Catherine Banning (René Russo), who’s been hired to retrieve the painting no matter what it takes, does suspect him, and she loves the chase as much as he does. The game is on. Profanity and sexual content – for mature viewers.
