As Canada’s only official bilingual province, we take great pride in our francophone heritage. We will be serving up our Favourite Acadian dish – “poutine” for all who attend as part of this celebration. This third installment of the Poutinerie Challenge cements it into an annual tradition. This year, our ingredients will all be sourced from New Brunswick and Quebec exclusively. Councilor Shirley McAlary and Bridget Oland from Crosby’s Molasses will help crown the winner. The New Brunswick Museum will offer an interpretive walk along Harbour Passage to commemorate St. Jean Baptiste Day.
